We should each take a moment to remember J.S. Bach (1685-1750), as we certainly wouldn't have the music we do and perhaps not be the people we are without his great influence.
Amanda: Happy Birthday to you too. We're sorry your birthday gets overshadowed every year by Bach's. Our lives would be very different without you too. ;)

I was just telling Viola Diva that we should do a "Happy Birthday, Bach" post when she clicked on your blog! (She knew you would.) Thanks for the inspiring tribute...I'm not so sure about the piano comment, however.
Seeing your tribute to the great master of music reminded me of the time that you performed his Chaconne in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. I could tell that you truly loved Bach when I heard that performance. You should consider naming your baby Sebastian (though people would think you had named him after a crab instead of after the greatest composer in history).
Congrats on the little baby. I hope yours is as cute as the little widget.
If you go to USC you will have to become football fans. Will Keenan compete for the Heisman trophy?
